This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS convertible is finished in red with black stripes over a red interior and powered by a 402ci V8 paired with a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and 12-bolt rear axle, and the transmission have been upgraded during the refurbishment.
The replacement 402ci V8 was rebuilt with an upgraded rotating assembly using forged pistons, chromoly rings, and stainless valves and was installed during the refurbishment.
Features include an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, electronic ignition, a Howard’s custom roller camshaft, lifters, and hardened pushrods, and an aluminum radiator.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and 12-bolt rear axle.
The transmission have been upgraded during the refurbishment.
The floor pans, trunk pan, wheel wells, convertible top well, driver-side door, passenger side door skin, rear quarter panels, fenders, deck lid, taillight panel, lower valance, radiator support, and hood have been replaced to address rust.
Features include a black convertible soft top, cowl hood, front and rear spoilers, a driver-side mirror, black nose stripes, hideaway headlamps, simulated hood vents, and bright rocker and wheel arch moldings.
Silver-painted 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings with hubcaps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
The car is equipped with power steering and tubular front control arms.
Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket and rear bench seats trimmed in red vinyl along with a matching dash, door panels, and carpeting.
Appointments include a center console, heater/defroster, lap belts, crank windows, and a retro-style Bluetooth stereo.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge, while a trio of Bosch auxiliary gauges are mounted to the underside of the dash.
The five-digit odometer shows 89k miles.
