The fiberglass bodywork is finished in red with white over-the-top stripes. Equipment includes a chrome roll hoop, quick-jack bumperettes, black-coated side exhaust pipes, and glass wing windows. A pair of uninstalled side mirrors will accompany the vehicle.
The 15” Halibrand-style wheels are secured by three-eared knock-off spinners retained by safety wire and are mounted with Goodyear Eagle white-letter tires. Braking is through Baer four-wheel discs with Shelby-branded front calipers. The car rides on four-wheel independent suspension with coilovers and rack-and-pinion steering.
The cabin houses bucket seats trimmed in black leather along with color-coordinated carpets. Amenities include latch-and-link lap belts, map pockets in both doors, and a dash-mounted rear-view mirror. The dash bears a CSX plaque as well as a Carroll Shelby signature.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of Shelby-branded instrumentation that includes a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 300 miles.
