This 1958 Corvette is finished in metallic blue with silver coves over black vinyl and is powered by a fuel-injected 283ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a white soft top, chrome bumpers and trim, and 15″ wheels with covers. The car received a refurbishment in 2022 that included repainting the bodywork, replating the bumpers, rebuilding the fuel injection system, changing the oil, and replacing the weather stripping, stainless steel side moldings, grille bar and teeth, exhaust system, spark plugs, ignition wires, and engine hoses and clamps.
The 283ci V8 features Rochester fuel injection and finned aluminum valve covers and was factory rated at 290 horsepower. The fuel injection system was rebuilt in March 2022, additional service included changing the oil and replacing the spark plugs, ignition wires, hoses, and clamps. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. The exhaust system was replaced in May 2022.
