This 1957 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a fuel-injected 283ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in red and white over a red interior.

The replacement 283ci V8 features Rochester fuel injection and was rated at 283 horsepower when new.

Work performed in 2018 includes a rebuild of the fuel pump and replacement of the valve covers, fan shroud, oil filter canister, air filter, and intake plenum gasket.

The hood release cable assembly and thermostat housing have also been replaced and a 12-volt Delco-Remy generator has been installed.

The four-speed manual transmission sends power to the rear wheels and an aluminum exhaust system have been installed in 2018.

The fiberglass body was repainted in 2018 in Venetian Red with white coves.

The car is fitted with a tan soft top, exterior details include a driver-side mirror, fender-mounted “Fuel Injection” badging, and dual exhaust pipes exiting through the rear bumpers.

Red-finished 15” steel wheels wear covers with faux-knock-off spinners and are mounted with 205/75 BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial whitewall tires.

Components replaced in preparation for sale are include the wheel cylinders, the brake master cylinder, brake shoes, brake hoses, and front wheel seals.

The seats were overhauled with repainted frames and replacement foam padding, springs, and red vinyl upholstery.

A replacement dash pad was also installed, and appointments include a Wonder Bar AM radio, a heater, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror.

A three-spoke steering wheel fronts a white-painted dash housing a 140-mph speedometer and a centrally oriented 6k-rpm tachometer that is flanked by an ammeter, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges.

The five-digit odometer shows 2k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
