This 1975 Ford F-250 4x4 was a subsequent refurbishment included performing a repaint in gray, refinishing the frame, and reupholstering the interior in black vinyl with plaid inserts. Power is provided by a modified 460ci V8 linked to a three-speed C6 automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and the truck is equipped with a custom driveshaft, a dual exhaust system, a Painless Performance Products wiring harness, 20″ Fuel wheels, suspension components, front disc brakes, power steering, an Ididit steering column, a RetroSound radio, and a bed floor fabricated from reclaimed wood planks.
The 460ci V8 was installed in place of the factory inline-six and have been rebuilt with a 0.030″ overbore. Additional equipment includes an Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum cylinder heads, a Weiand Stealth intake manifold, an HEI distributor, a Painless Performance Products wiring harness, and polished Ford Performance valve covers. Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed C6 automatic transmission that was rebuilt by Brown’s Auto. The frame was stripped before being repainted in black, while additional refurbishment work consisted of replacing fuel lines as well as installing a custom driveshaft and a dual exhaust system.
Originally finished in Raven Black (A), the body was removed from the frame prior to being repainted in Ford Cactus Gray with black bumpers, moldings, and trim. Additional work included replacing the tailgate, front grille, and weatherstripping.
The interior bed panels were refinished with a body-color Raptor coating, and reclaimed wood planks were used for the bed floor.
Black-finished 20″ Fuel Vector wheels are mounted with 35×12.5″ Gladiator X-Comp M/T tires all around, and Warn locking hubs are equipped up front. Refurbishment work included installing front disc brakes as well as replacement tie rods, ball joints, and a power steering system.
The interior features a bench seat reupholstered in black vinyl with plaid inserts along with a replacement headliner, dash pad, and black carpets. A RetroSound digital stereo is installed.
A Billet Specialties steering wheel is mounted to an Ididit steering column and frames a black instrument panel housing a 100-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and readings for oil pressure, alternator charge, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 60 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
