This 1969 Shelby Mustang GT500 convertible was initially purchased on May 8, 1969, and was acquired by the current owner in 1987. Subsequent work in the mid-1990s consisted of repainting the body in white with black stripes as well as finishing the chassis in semi-gloss black, overhauling the engine, and adding a limited-slip differential to the rear axle. Power is provided by a 428ci Cobra Jet V8 linked with a three-speed C6 automatic transmission, and the car features a black vinyl interior and power-operated convertible top. Additional details include 15″ wheels, power steering, power front disc brakes, Lucas driving lights, air conditioning, and an 8-track cassette stereo.

The 428ci Cobra Jet V8 have been overhauled in 1997 and features a four-barrel carburetor, finned valve covers, and a blue-finished Ram-Air system, engine block, intake manifold, and cylinder heads.

An oil change was performed in preparation for sale.
