This 1970 Datsun 1600 Roadster is powered by a replacement 2.0-liter U20 inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Subsequent work included a repaint in blue and reupholstery of the interior in black vinyl as well as replacing the windshield, mounting wheels and tires, re-chroming the bumpers, and installing a black canvas soft top. The oil and filter were changed in preparation for sale.

The replacement 2.0-liter inline-four have been sourced from a 1970 Datsun 2000. Maintenance performed in preparation for sale included changing the oil and filter. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.

Originally finished in bronze, the car was repainted blue following dent removal and repairs to the passenger-side fender. Additional work included re-chroming the bumpers and refurbishing the stainless trim as well as installing a canvas black soft top with a zip-down rear window, a tonneau cover, and a windshield.

Libre-style 14″ wheels with red Datsun center caps are mounted with Ohtsu tires. Mike Young springs are fitted up front, and braking is by front discs and rear drums.

The front bucket seats were reupholstered in black vinyl. Features include a replacement dashboard cover, a heater, a center armrest, lap belts, crank windows, and headrests.

A Momo steering wheel frames a tachometer, a 140-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge showing coolant temperature, amperage, oil pressure, and fuel level.

The five-digit odometer shows 87k miles, total mileage is unknown.
