This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 had a refurbishment completed in 2020. The car is refinished in Black Jade over a reupholstered black cabin, and the 428ci Cobra Jet Ram-Air V8 was rebuilt. Additional equipment includes a three-speed automatic transmission, a Traction-Lok differential, a shaker hood, dual exhaust, 14″ styled steel wheels, an AM/FM radio, and a heater.
The 428ci Super Cobra Jet Ram-Air V8 was rebuilt in 2021 and included the replacement of the pistons, bearings, and gaskets. The carburetor was also rebuilt, and a Pertronix electronic ignition kit was added. An oil change was completed in preparation for sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission and a Traction-Lok differential with 4.30:1 gears. The transmission was rebuilt and the rear gears were replaced in 2020, and the torque converter was replaced in 2021.
The car was finished at the factory in Black Jade and was refinished in 2020 during the aforementioned refurbishment. The quarter panels were replaced. Features include a Mach 1 grille, Mach 1 graphics, a shaker hood, dual side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 14″ styled steel wheels are mounted with F70-14 Goodyear Polyglas-branded tires. Braking is handled by drums at all four corners.
The cabin was refurbished and features high-back bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. Interior appointments include an aftermarket AM/FM radio, a floor-mounted center console, and a heater.
The steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a fuel-level gauge.
The five-digit odometer shows 87k miles.
