The 440ci V8 is equipped with “Six Barrel” carburetion consisting of a trio of two-barrel carburetors. Electronic ignition has been installed, and the radiator and the fuel tank were replaced in 2020. According to records, Chrysler manufactured 137 examples of the 1971 Road Runner with this engine, carburetor, and transmission combination.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The car is equipped with the Super Track Pak Axle Package (A34), which added a Sure Grip differential with a 4.10:1 gear ratio.

The car was finished from the factory in Lemon Twist (FY1) with black striping. The Air Grabber hood also has black accents, and other equipment includes chrome bumpers, quad headlights, bright wheel-lip moldings, dual side mirrors, Road Runner graphics, and a dual-exit exhaust system.

Ansen Sprint slotted 15″ wheels are mounted with 245/60 Goodyear Eagle ST tires, and a spare steel wheel with a Goodyear Polyglas tire is stored in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl along with a color-coordinated dashboard, headliner, door panels, and carpeting. Woodgrain trim accents the dashboard and the center console, and additional equipment includes a Hurst pistol-grip shifter, an AM radio, a heater, a rear-window defogger, bright doorsill plates, and rubber floor mats.

A Tuff steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and alternator status.

The five-digit odometer shows 20k miles; and less than 25 miles have been accumulated since 2020.
