This 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible features a bullet-style chrome grille and tail panel along with a power-operated white convertible top and a rigid three-piece parade boot. On the inside, the front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in white Cardiff leather and accompanied by a push-button AM/FM radio, a clock, and an automatic headlight dimmer. The engine is fitted with triple two-barrel carburetors, and shifting is through a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes a self-leveling air suspension, power steering, and power-assisted drum brakes as well as 15″ steel wheels with full covers.

The replacement 390ci V8 was bored over 0.030″ and rebuilt prior to installation, additional work have involved overhauling the triple two-barrel carburetors, adding a PerTronix ignition, and refurbishing the radiator, starter, generator, and distributor. The engine compartment has also been refinished. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission. The underbody has been sprayed with red oxide primer, and work have involved servicing the transmission, rebalancing the driveshaft, adding a Waldron’s exhaust system, and replacing the fuel tank, pump, and sending unit.

Delivered from the factory in Ebony (10), the car was repainted in its current Heather finish as part of the aforementioned body-off refurbishment work. A power-operated white convertible top is paired with a rigid three-piece parade boot. Quad headlights, stacked taillamps, rear fender skirts, tail fins, and a bullet-style chrome grille and tail panel are further details. The wiper motor was rebuilt and T3 headlamps were installed.

Steel 15″ wheels wear chrome covers with Cadillac crests and are mounted with whitewall tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners. The self-leveling air suspension has been modified with an electric air compressor.

The front bucket and rear bench seats are trimmed in white leather that extends to the door panels. The clock, push-button AM radio, and speakers were rebuilt. Further equipment includes an Autronic Eye automatic headlight dimmer, a heater, an electric trunk release, and power windows.

The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level.
