On this 1974 Triumph TR6 subsequent work included refinishing the car in Mimosa, refreshing the chestnut interior, and servicing the brakes and suspension. Additional work included overhauling the 2.5-liter inline-six and the four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The car is equipped with triple SU carburetors, ceramic-coated headers, a stainless-steel exhaust system, a black soft top and top boot, and 15″ wire-spoke wheels.
The 2.5-liter inline-six is equipped with triple SU carburetors, and work completed in 2017 included replacing the pistons and rings, camshaft, valve springs, push rods, and timing chain. Additional equipment includes ceramic-coated exhaust headers, a stainless-steel exhaust system, a high-torque starter, and a replacement radiator.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission with a J-Type overdrive, both of which have been overhauled as part of the refurbishment. Additional work included replacing the clutch cylinders, clutch assembly, and flywheel.
The car was refinished in Mimosa in 2016 and that the front grille, bumpers, taillights, window moldings, and window mechanisms were replaced at that time. A replacement black soft top and top boot are fitted.
Wire-spoke 15″ wheels are mounted with Coker Classic redline tires. Components replaced as part of the refurbishment include the following: Rear hubs, Driveshaft, Axles, Trail arm boxes, Adjustable trail arm links, Hydraulic cylinders, Vacuum booster and motor, Rotors and drums, Front Shocks and rear lever shocks, Tie rod ends, lower trunnions, and upper ball joints, Suspension bushings.
Chestnut vinyl upholstery is fitted over replacement seat cushions, and additional interior work included installing replacement carpets and door panels. A Pyle AM/FM head unit with USB input is equipped.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard.
The five-digit odometer shows 56k miles.
