This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split-window coupe was subsequently refurbished with work that included repainting the body in Silver Blue and re-trimming the interior using blue vinyl upholstery. Following the refurbishment, the car was judged and scored for NCRS Top Flight qualification in April 2024. Power is provided by a fuel-injected 327ci L84 V8 linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels with three-eared knock-off spinner-style hubcaps, power-assisted brakes, an AM radio, and concealed headlights.
The 327ci L84 V8 features Rochester mechanical fuel injection and a high-lift camshaft to produce a factory-rated 360 horsepower. The engine stamping includes sequence 104938, which corresponds with the last six digits of the vehicle’s serial number. The RF suffix indicates a 360-horsepower, 327ci V8 for use with a manual transmission. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and an optional Positraction differential.
The fiberglass body was refinished in its factory Silver Blue (912) during the recent refurbishment by Finney’s Auto Body. Details include flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance.
Silver-finished 15” steel wheels feature three-eared spinner-style hubcaps and are mounted with 6.70-15 BFGoodrich bias ply tires. The 1963 Corvette introduced fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel drums.
The cabin features two bucket seats that have been reupholstered in Dark Blue vinyl sourced from Al Knoch Interiors as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, an AM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level.
The five-digit odometer shows 24k miles, total mileage is unknown.
