This 1958 Porsche 356A Speedster was completed on October 30, 1957 and underwent a refurbishment in the late 2000s by European Collectibles. Work involved a repaint in Aquamarine Blue and a refresh of the interior in red leather, as well as overhauls of the 1.6-liter flat-four and four-speed manual transaxle. Following completion of the project, the car have been awarded second in its class at the 2009 Dana Point Concours d’Elegance. The car rides on 15″ steel wheels and is further equipped with dual Zenith carburetors, four-wheel drum brakes, a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel, and a black convertible top with a red top boot.

The 1.6-liter flat-four was overhauled as part of the refurbishment and is equipped with twin Zenith carburetors topped by Knecht air cleaners. The battery was replaced in 2025.

Engine case stamping P☆67014☆ is shown above, and a corresponding number is listed on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle that was also overhauled in the late 2000s.

The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists the original colors and component numbers as well as options, including coupe seats and US-market bumpers.

Delivered from the factory in Ruby Red, the Reutter-built bodywork was repainted in Aquamarine Blue as part of the aforementioned refurbishment in the late 2000s. The black convertible top is accompanied by matching side curtains and a red top boot. Further exterior details include a driver’s side mirror, a Reutter badge affixed to the right-front fender, gold-color badging, and body-color bumpers with chrome guards and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear overriders.

Silver-finished 15″ steel wheels wear Porsche-crest hubcaps and are mounted with 165/80 Nexen SB-802 tires, as is a matching spare wheel housed in the front trunk compartment. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes.

Originally trimmed in tan leatherette, the cabin was refreshed during the refurbishment with red leather over the fixed-back bucket seats, door panels, upper dash, and rear parcel shelf. Oatmeal square-weave carpeting lines the seatbacks, footwells, and sills, while black rubber mats cover the floors. Further appointments include lap belts, an adjustable rearview mirror, and a chrome passenger-side grab handle.

A wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel sits ahead of a body-color dash fascia housing green-letter VDO instrumentation including a central 6k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge monitoring oil temperature and oil pressure.

The five-digit odometer shows 86k miles.
