The factory 304ci V8 has been replaced with an AMC 401ci V8 that was professionally overbored to a displacement of 406ci.
Features include Venolia forged pistons, replacement intake and exhaust valves, a mild camshaft, and floating roller rockers.
The engine is fitted with a Milodon seven-quart aluminum oil pan, an aluminum radiator, and an Edelbrock Torker intake topped with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel-injection unit.
A pair of Hooker headers connect to a Flowmaster dual exhaust system.
The alternator and ignition components were replaced in August 2020.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Chrysler A727 three-speed automatic transmission equipped with a Gear Vendors overdrive unit and linked to an Auburn limited-slip differential with 3.54:1 gearing.
