Sanderson Corvette-style headers feature a ceramic coating and feed a dual exhaust system equipped with Flowmaster dual-stage mufflers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 700-R4 automatic transmission featuring a lock-up converter and linked to a narrowed Ford 9″ rear end housing a Currie third member and a Traction-Lok differential with 3.70:1 gears.
The body was repainted in DuPont Turquoise with a clearocat finishing during the build.
The frame was also refinished, and a pair of wheeltubs sourced from a 1982 Fleetside were integrated into the wood-lined bed.
Trim retains a period appearance, including the single-year-only 1957 grille design.
Staggered-width 15″ Budnik Famosa wheels were fitted in June 2019 with new Mickey Thompson radial tires measuring 26/10XR15 in the front and Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR tires measuring 28/12XR15 at the rear.
TCI Engineering disc brakes are fitted up front.
Suspension upgrades include a TCI Engineering Mustang II independent front suspension kit featuring chrome-plated upper and lower A-arms, drop spindles, and Alden coilover shocks, while the rear suspension is equipped with a TCI Engineering four-link setup with a Panhard bar.
The body-colored cab features a gray color scheme on the bench seat, door panels, and headliner completed by Leon’s Upholstery.
Replacement carpeting is fitted over the dynamat-lined floors, and a Panasonic cassette unit is housed within the dash factory location.
Lap belts are provided for the two occupants.
A stock steering wheel is mounted to a Flaming River tilt column and fronts instrumentation including a 100-mph speedometer, a coolant temperature gauge, and a five-digit odometer displaying approximately 13k miles.
