This 1955 GMC Suburban pickup was sold new by Sauder-Lygrisse GMC. A subsequent refurbishment have included a repaint in Seminole Brown, a frame refinish, and a refresh of the red and white interior. Power comes from a 287ci V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission.

The Pontiac-sourced 287ci V8 features a single carburetor and was factory rated at 155 horsepower, which is sent to the rear wheels via a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission.

Spark plug replacements and an oil change were performed in preparation for sale.

This example was repainted in Seminole Brown with a cream roof and rear bumper during the refurbishment, the rear cab corners were replaced at the same time.

Cream-finished 15″ steel wheels wear GMC-branded hub caps, and BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires.

The cargo bed features wood slat flooring, cream runner strips, and cream interior bedsides.

The body-color cab features two-tone white and red upholstery for the bench seat along with white door panel inserts and headliner material.

A heater is mounted beneath the passenger-side of the dash, and a Pyrene fire extinguisher is mounted to the passenger-side kick panel.

Lap belts are equipped for the three occupants.

The five-digit odometer was reset at the time of the refurbishment and shows just over 3,500 miles, with true mileage unknown.
