The body was removed from the frame in 2018 and work performed over the next three years included rebuilding the 427ci V8, replacing the engine block, overhauling the transmission and Positraction differential, and refurbishing the chassis, suspension, and brakes.

The 427ci V8 is equipped with a replacement block that was bored 0.030” over prior to installation.

The rotating assembly was balanced, the water pump and windshield washer pump were rebuilt, and that the pistons, valve springs, camshaft, lifters, pushrods, and bearings were replaced, along with the wiring, fuel tank, fuel lines, and fuel pump.

The block was also restamped prior to installation.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a rebuilt four-speed manual transmission and a rebuilt 3.36:1 Positraction rear differential.

The transmission was also rebuilt with new bearings and synchro rings, and that all frame and chassis components were restored with black paint or powder-coating.

The car was repainted in its factory Trophy Blue (980), and features a white convertible top, concealed headlights, split chrome bumpers, front fender vents, and dual side-exit exhaust pipes.

Knock-off 15″ turbine-style wheels are mounted with 205/75 Michelin whitewall tires, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs.

The steering box was recently rebuilt and that the following components were replaced: Wheel bearings, Ball joints, U-joints, Coil springs, Suspension bushings and body mounts, Brake lines, rotors, and pads, Parking brake.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in dark blue vinyl with pleated inserts along with matching carpets, door panel inserts, and silver trim accents.

Equipment includes front vent windows, lap belts, and an AM/FM radio with a replacement power antenna.

The dashboard was refinished and the carpets were replaced during the refurbishment.

The jack is missing from the trunk, and the removed antenna is included in the sale.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,300-rpm redline, and auxiliary instrumentation.

A rebuilt analog clock is located in the center stack, the five-digit odometer shows 52k miles.
