A rebuilt 302ci V8 was installed by Bronco Connection, in June 2014 and was fitted with a replacement alternator and wiring harness at that time.
Modifications include electronic fuel injection, a Champion Radiators aluminum radiator, MSD ignition, an aftermarket polished air intake system, a 23-gallon fuel tank, stainless steel fuel lines, and a stainless steel dual exhaust system with ceramic-coated headers and Magnaflow mufflers.
A rebuilt NV3550 five-speed manual transmission with a replacement cross member and bell housing adapter were also installed by Bronco Connection, along with a rebuilt Dana 20 twin-stick dual-range transfer case, a Dana 44 front differential with 4.11:1 gearing, and a 9″ rear end with a limited-slip differential, 4.11:1 gearing, and 31-spline axles.
Aftermarket driveshafts were also fitted at that time.

A replacement dash cap and carpeting were also installed during the build process.
