This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe is a modified example that was built by Bumbera’s Performance.

It is finished in blue with black center stripes over a black interior and is powered by a 454ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission.

Finished from the factory in Astro Turquoise, the car was repainted during the build.

The dual black center stripes were refinished in 2021, at which time scratches and dents were repaired and the clear coat was re-applied by ZD Motorsports.

Additional exterior details include a replacement front chrome bumper, a cowl induction hood with hold-down pins, chrome wheel arch trim, “SS 454” badging, and dual side-exit exhaust outlets.

Billet Specialties staggered 15” five-spoke wheels are mounted with Mickey Thompson tires.

The car is equipped with Hotchkis sway bars, QA1 shocks, and a Wilwood disc brake kit with a chrome brake booster, aluminum tandem master cylinder, and cross-drilled rotors.

The cabin houses TMI front bucket seats and a rear bench that are trimmed in black upholstery.

A roll bar is fitted in addition to a Sparc Industries rearview mirror, a B&M shifter, Chevelle-branded floor mats, an AC Delco ignition switch, and a Retrosound Bluetooth radio wired to aftermarket speakers and dual amplifiers beneath the rear bench.

A JL Audio subwoofer is located in the trunk along with a fire extinguisher, a Harwood 20-gallon fuel cell, and an EverStart battery charger.

A leather-wrapped Sparc Industries steering wheel fronts a Dakota Digital dash panel that consists of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.

The digital odometer shows 79k miles.
