The replacement 5.8-liter V8 was sourced from a 1989 Ford and is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold and valve covers, Airflow Research cylinder heads, a Comp Cams camshaft, Scorpion Racing Products aluminum roller rockers, and a BBK Performance throttle body.

Additional modifications include an aluminum radiator, ceramic-coated headers, and a Neutrino Black Box power distribution module.

Power is sent to the front, rear, or all four wheels through a 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case featuring “twin–stick” controls that allow for independent engagement of the front and rear axles.

The truck is equipped with a Dana 44 front axle with a Power-Lok locking differential, and a 9″ rear axle with a Yukon Grizzly locking differential.

Additional modifications include a US Shift Quick 6 transmission controller, a Wild Horses axle wrap trap, and a TBP 23-gallon fuel tank.

The truck features aftermarket steel bumpers with a front Ramsey winch and an integrated rear receiver hitch.
