The 455ci V8 was built by Butler Performance and installed as part of the refurbishment and equipped with the following components: Aluminum intake manifold, 7F6 heads, Scorpion roller rockers, Lunati roller lifters, Ross pistons, Aluminum valve covers, Ceramic-coated exhaust manifolds, BeCool aluminum radiator, Holly Sniper fuel injection.
The battery mount was relocated to the trunk and an Optima Yellow Top battery was installed.
A replacement fuel tank with an in-tank pump is fitted.
Work performed in preparation for sale included replacing the starter, the throttle cable and bracket, and the valve cover gaskets along with cleaning the fuel tank and sump.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic transmission that was rebuilt during the refurbishment and is equipped with an ATI torque converter.
The 10-bolt axle is reinforced with an aluminum TA Performance differential cover.
Service in preparation for sale included resealing the transmission fitting and resealing the differential cover.
The car left the factory finished in Ascot Silver (64), and the exterior has been modified with Trans Am-style front fenders and wheel well spoilers.
Additional equipment includes a Ram Air hood, SD455 decals, and a rear spoiler with a Trans Am decal as well as replacement weatherstripping, GE LED headlights, dual exhaust outlets, and a carbon-fiber taillight panel and fender vents.
US Mags 18″ five-spoke wheels with gray centers are wrapped in 255/45 front and 275/40 rear BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2 tires.
The suspension modifications include a Delco steering box, adjustable traction bars, Global West upper and lower control arms, Viking adjustable shocks, front coilovers, and new rear springs.
Stopping power is provided by Baer disc brakes with 13″ slotted rotors up front and 12″ slotted and cross-drilled rotors in the rear.
The refinished cabin features Corbeau bucket seats upholstered in black leather with a color-matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting.
Amenities include Vintage Air air conditioning, heated front seats, Nu-Vintage power windows, a center console with an armrest, a Hurst shifter, an Autopower roll bar, a fire extinguisher, and an Infinity stereo with Bluetooth connectivity.
A three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames a carbon-fiber dashboard with white-dial instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.
