The 502ci V8 have been sourced as a crate engine and features a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an open-element K&N air cleaner, and ceramic-coated long-tube headers feeding a dual exhaust system with offset mufflers and side-exiting outlets ahead of each rear wheel.
Additional equipment includes an HEI electronic ignition and an electric fuel pump.
A fuel pressure gauge and a battery cut-off switch were added to the engine bay, and the battery was relocated to the trunk.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Borg-Warner T-10 four-speed manual transmission and a Ford 9″ rear end with a Positraction differential and 3.55:1 gearing.
During the refurbishment the body was stripped and separated from the frame, the sheet metal seams were reportedly brazed, and the floor pans and rear quarter panels have been replaced before the car was refinished in white with hand-painted red and silver pinstripes.
Equipment includes a replacement black vinyl soft top, a dual-vented SS-style hood, a chrome front bumper and grille, a painted rear bumper, chrome angle-cut exhaust tips, SS and 502 badging, and ribbed rocker-panel moldings.
The widened Rally-style 14″ and 15″ wheels are finished in red with chrome trim rings and hubcaps and wear Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires measuring 215/70 and 295/50, respectively.
The car is equipped with power steering, while braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
Air Lift 1000 air helper springs have been fitted at the rear.
The re-trimmed cabin features front and rear bench seats upholstered in red vinyl that extends to the door and side panels, while the red-painted dashboard is accented by a black pad.
Additional appointments include replacement black carpets as well as woodgrain dash trim, a Hurst shifter lever, a heater/defroster, metal pedal covers, an older AM/FM cassette stereo, and a trunk-mounted Delco CD-changer linked to a dash-mounted controller.
A three-spoke steering wheel with an SS center cap fronts a 120-mph sweep speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, a clock, and a Chevrolet-branded 10k-rpm aftermarket tachometer.
Additional aftermarket guages for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage have been mounted beneath the dashboard.
The five-digit odometer shows 28k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
