The All-American Racer specification was created to meet SCCA homologation requirements and included a 340ci V8 engine, a unique fiberglass hood with a functional scoop, a rear spoiler, front spoilers, longitudinal strobe stripes, and a side-outlet dual exhaust system.
A replacement 414ci V8 has been installed and it is paired with a 727 Torqueflite three-speed automatic transmission and a 3.91:1 limited-slip differential.
