This 2016 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe is one of nine Nighthawk Editions produced, and it was delivered new to Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Miami. The car is finished in Diamond Black over two-tone black and Hotspur Red leather upholstery, and power comes from a 6.75-liter V12 paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 21″ seven-spoke alloy wheels, LED headlights, a black soft top, a retractable “Spirit of Ecstacy” hood ornament, a camera system, rear-hinged doors, heated and power-adjustable front seats with memory, carbon-fiber interior trim, illuminated doorsills, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Lexicon Logic7 audio system.
The naturally aspirated 6.75-liter V12 was factory rated at 453 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Nighthawk Edition included Diamond Black paint with matte details on the hood, grille, “Spirit of Ecstacy” hood ornament, A-pillars, windshield surround, and exhaust outlets. Additional equipment includes a black soft top, a hard boot cover, a camera system, parking sensors, LED headlights, and power-close rear-hinged doors.
The 21″ partially-polished seven-spoke alloy wheels with self-righting center caps, and they are mounted with 255/50 front and 285/45 rear Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 tires. The car rides on a self-leveling air suspension system, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at all four corners.
The cabin is trimmed in black leather upholstery with Hotspur Red accents, seat piping, and “RR” monogramming in the seat headrests. Carbon-fiber trim extends from the dashboard to the center console and door panels, while additional amenities include a Lexicon Logic7 audio system, a rotating dashboard-mounted clock and infotainment screen, heated and power-adjustable front seats with position memory, a storage drawer with access code, lambswool floor mats, illuminated door sills, and integrated umbrellas located in the door armrests.
The multifunction steering wheel features carbon-fiber spoke trim, and it fronts a carbon-fiber instrument cluster including a power reserve meter, a 160-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge showing fuel level and coolant temperature.
The digital odometer shows fewer than 3,600 miles.
