This 2001 BMW Z8 it is powered by a 4.9-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in Jet Black over black Nappa leather and features a color-matched removable hardtop, a black soft top, 18” split-spoke wheels, xenon headlights, heated power-adjustable sport seats, air conditioning, and an Alpine stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. Service in preparation for sale have included changing the oil and replacing the spark plugs, ignition coils, intake manifold gaskets, and the power steering hose.

The 4.9-liter S62 V8 was shared with the contemporary E39 M5 and features double-VANOS variable valve timing for a factory-rated output of 394 horsepower and 368 lb-ft torque. Service included replacing the fuel pump, spark plugs, ignition coils, and starter motor. An oil change was performed, and the mass air flow sensor and intake manifold gaskets have been replaced in preparation for the sale.

The Z8 features bodywork designed by Henrik Fisker with inspiration from the BMW 507 roadster, and the aluminum body panels are mounted over an aluminum spaceframe. This example is finished in Jet Black and features a color-matched removable hardtop and a black soft top, and additional equipment includes xenon headlights with washers, front fender air extractors with BMW roundels, polished mirror caps, dual exhaust outlets, and neon taillights and turn indicators.

The 18” split-spoke wheels wear Michelin Pilot Sport All Season tires that were mounted in 2023 and measure 245/45 up front and 275/40 out back. The four-wheel disc brake system is equipped with Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and additional features include Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and All-Season Traction (ASC). A power steering hose was replaced, and a front strut tower brace was fitted.

The cabin features black Nappa leather upholstery that extends from the heated power-adjustable seats to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include leather-wrapped roll hoops, air conditioning, cruise control, all-weather floor mats, a wind deflector, a tonneau cover, a cup holder, and an Alpine stereo linked to aftermarket speakers and an amplifier that is noted to be installed under the seats. The removed factory radio is included in the sale.

The banjo-spoke steering wheel features silver trim within a leather-wrapped rim. Centrally mounted instrumentation includes a 155-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level.

The digital odometer indicates 44k miles.
