This 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SL is finished in Signal Red over Palomino leather upholstery and is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The car was factory equipped with power steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The steering system’s drag link, idler-arm bushing, steering damper, and tie-rod assemblies were replaced.
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in Palomino leather along with a matching center console and door panels. Additional appointments include an aftermarket JVC CD stereo, trunk-mounted CD changer, and speakers as well as electric windows, central locking, and automatic climate control. An air-conditioning refrigerant leak was repaired in preparation for sale, and the door latches were adjusted at that time.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level.
