This 1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am was subsequently fitted with a 6.2-liter LS3 V8, a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission, an aluminum driveshaft, a Currie 9″ rear end, MagnaFlow exhaust, a Ridetech coilover suspension with a four-link rear, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes. The car is refinished in black over black leather, and additional equipment includes removable t-top roof panels, 17″ Snowflake wheels, power windows, a Hurst shifter, a Pioneer CD stereo, Dakota Digital instrumentation, cruise control, and air conditioning.

The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was installed in 2021 and is equipped with a carbon-fiber cold air intake mount, stainless steel exhaust headers, a CVF Racing eight-rib serpentine accessory drive, and a Griffin radiator with dual electric fans.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission, an aluminum driveshaft, and a Currie 9″ limited-slip differential with 3.91:1 gears. The underside was refinished during the refurbishment and a MagnaFlow exhaust and a replacement fuel tank with an in-tank pump were fitted.

Build sheets, a copy of a past title, a service record, and manufacturer’s literature are included in the sale.

The car was refinished in black following bodywork repairs and has a Firebird hood graphic. Additional details include a custom-fabricated shaker scoop mount, a front spoiler, removable t-top roof panels, a rear spoiler, and painted mirror caps.

The 17″ Snowflake-style wheels are mounted with 275/40 Nitto NT555 G2 tires. A Ridetech coilover suspension with a four-link rear is fitted, and stopping power is provided by six-piston front and four-piston rear Wilwood disc brakes.

The seating surfaces and door panels are trimmed in black leather. Amenities include an engine-turned dash fascia, a full-length center console, a Hurst shifter, a Pioneer CD stereo, power windows, cruise control, and air conditioning.
