This 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT was refinished in Raven Black in 2023, work performed since 2022 has included installing a 460ci V8 and a 4″ suspension lift, refinishing the truck in black with chromatic stripes, and refreshing the interior. Shifting is through a three-speed automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes a dual-range transfer case, a removable black hardtop, 15″ US Mags Indy wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, an aftermarket head unit, and air conditioning.
The 460ci V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
The truck was refinished in Raven Black in 2023, and chromatic stripes were added at that time. Additional work included refinishing the chassis, inner fenders, and core support. Equipment includes a removable black hardtop, a bright grille, chrome bumpers, vent windows, and a power-operated rear window.
The 15″ US Mags Indy wheels are mounted with 35×12.5″ Federal Couragia M/T tires. A 4″ suspension lift, power steering, and manually locking front hubs are equipped. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features a split front bench and a removable folding rear bench trimmed in black with patterned inserts. The seat upholstery, carpet, headliner, dash pad, and door panels have been replaced. An aftermarket head unit and air conditioning are equipped.
The steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames an 85-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, amperage, and coolant temperature.
The five-digit odometer shows 39k miles.
