This 1975 Chevrolet K5 Blazer was used as a forestry service truck before it was refurbished in 2004. Power comes from a 350ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and it has been refinished in two-tone metallic black and metallic red paint over a black interior. Additional equipment includes a black removable hardtop, Smittybilt seats, a 4″ lift kit, 15″ American Racing wheels, Mile Marker locking front hubs, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and 600-cfm carburetor, a COMP Cams camshaft, and Hedman headers mated to a dual exhaust system.
The 350ci V8 was serviced in preparation for the sale by replacing the spark plugs, air filter, and battery, in addition to cleaning the carburetor, setting the ignition timing, and changing the coolant and engine oil. Engine modifications include the following components: Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 600-cfm carburetor with an electric choke, Open-element air cleaner with a chrome housing, Hedman headers and dual exhaust system, COMP cams camshaft.
Power is sent to the the wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The frame was sand-blasted and painted during the refurbishment process and the front floor pans have been patched. The transmission and differential fluid was changed in preparation for sale.
Previously finished in silver, the truck was repainted its current shade of metallic black and metallic red during the refurbishment, following the installation of a replacement hood, fenders, doors, quarter panels, rocker panels, and tailgate.
The bumpers and exterior trim were also replaced at that time.
Exterior details include a chrome grille and bumpers, a red roll hoop, bowtie-logo accents, and Cheyenne badging.
The weatherstripping, mirrors, tailgate glass, chrome handle assembly, and lock were replaced and paint correction was performed.
Chrome 15″ American Racing wheels are wrapped in 33×12.5″ Dick Cepek Trail Country EXP tires.
The suspension has been modified with a 4″ lift kit that features rear Rancho shocks, front Gabriel Ultra shocks, and a Skyjacker steering stabilizer.
The truck is equipped with power steering, Mile Marker manually locking front hubs, and power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The brake fluid was flushed in preparation for sale, and a spare wheel and tire are included in the sale.
The cabin features Smittybilt low-backed seats upholstered in black vinyl along with color-coordinated carpeting and aluminum-look trim on the dashboard.
Equipment includes crank windows and a Pioneer stereo linked with dual speakers.
The truck is not fitted with a rear seat.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts instrumentation consisting of a 100-mph speedometer, an ammeter, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level.
The five-digit odometer shows 66k miles.
