This 1972 Pontiac GTO is finished in red over white upholstery and powered by a replacement 455ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes body-color front and rear bumpers, an “eyebrow” stripe kit, a rear wing, front disc brakes, a Pioneer CD player, and 18″ American Racing wheels. The car was repainted and the engine was replaced.

The 455ci V8 was installed in place of the factory T-code 400ci engine and features an aftermarket carburetor, Edelbrock Performer aluminum cylinder heads, and chrome valve covers. The replacement engine block bears the suffix stamp YC as well as “455” casting marks. The battery has been replaced. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission, and an aftermarket dual exhaust system is installed. Manufacturer’s literature and a window sticker are included in the sale.

The body was originally finished in Cardinal Red (75) according to the cowl tag, and it was repainted. Additional features include an Enduro front bumper, a blacked-out grille, tinted glass, a body-color rear bumper, an “eyebrow” fender stripe kit, and a rear wing.

Polished American Racing wheels wear 18″ Mickey Thompson tires. Braking is handled by powered front discs and rear drums.

The interior is outfitted with white upholstery, a color-keyed center console, and wood veneer accents. A Delco radio is retained in the dash, and an aftermarket Pioneer CD player is mounted below the dash.

Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer flanked by a combination gauge and an analog clock with an inset timer.

The five-digit odometer shows approximately 60k miles, true mileage is unknown.
