This 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme is one of 66 convertible examples produced with the 455ci V8 paired with an M20 four-speed manual transmission for the model year. Finished in blue over white vinyl upholstery, the car is equipped with a white soft top, 15″ Super Stock II-style wheels, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, a stainless-steel exhaust system, air conditioning, and a push-button AM/FM radio. The car was refurbished.

The 455ci Rocket V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 270 horsepower. Fluid services were performed in preparation for the sale. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission. An Aluminum W-27-branded differential cover is installed along with a stainless-steel exhaust system with Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers. The differential fluid have been flushed in preparation for the sale.

Manufacturer’s literature, a Protect-O-Plate, a letter from Oldsmobile, and refurbishment receipts are included in the sale.

Finished from the factory in Nordic Blue (24) the car was repainted in the current shade of blue during the aforementioned refurbishment circa 2003, at which time the rear quarter panels were replaced and the rear bumper was refinished. The front bumper was re-chromed in January 2020, and additional exterior details include a power-operated white soft top, bodyside pinstripes, body-color mirror assemblies, polished rocker panel moldings, and dual exhaust outlets.

The 15″ Super Stock II-style wheels wear Oldsmobile center caps and chrome trim rings and are mounted with 245/60 front and 255/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, and a full-size spare is stowed in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The power steering and brake fluids have been flushed in preparation for the sale.

The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in white vinyl upholstery complimented by faux woodgrain trim that accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Cutlass-branded floor mats line the footwells, and appointments include air conditioning, retractible front lap belts, a Hurst shifter, a locking glove compartment, and a push-button AM/FM radio.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an inset clock along with a fuel level gauge.

The five-digit odometer shows 91k miles, total mileage is unknown.
