This 1972 Chevrolet C10 short-bed pickup was modified in 2018 by Marc’s Customs. Work involved fitting a 1967-style front clip, custom body modifications, repainting the truck in Aston Martin Hammerhead Silver, and installing a Roadster Shop SPEC chassis, Strange Engineering coilovers, Baer six-piston front disc brakes, and a custom red leather interior as well as a Magnuson-supercharged 6.2-liter LS3 V8 linked with a 4L70E four-speed automatic transmission and 9″ rear axle with 3.50:1 gears. Additional details include a black walnut bed floor, Vintage Air climate control, LED interior and exterior lighting, staggered Budnik Crown wheels, a ceramic-coated dual exhaust system, a custom audio system, square-weave carpeting, a Rick’s Tanks stainless steel fuel tank, and an in-tank fuel pump.
The fabricated inner fenders and firewall were smoothed prior to the installation of the Magnuson TVS2300-supercharged 6.2-liter LS3 V8. Equipment includes a Concept One billet serpentine system, Billet Specialties valve covers, ceramic-coated exhaust manifolds, Ringbrothers billet hood hinges, and a polished radiator with a Cooling Components 16″ electric fan.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a 4L70E four-speed automatic transmission and 9″ rear axle with 3.50:1 gears. The ceramic-coated dual exhaust system features a crossover pipe and MagnaFlow mufflers. A custom aluminum driveshaft, a Rick’s Tanks stainless steel fuel tank, and an in-tank fuel pump have been fitted.
The truck was refinished in Aston Martin Hammerhead Silver. A 1967-style front clip was fitted and details include a modified cowl panel, tucked body-color bumpers, VisionX LED headlights, Marquez Design LED taillight, polished aluminum side mirrors, gray-tinted glass, Kindig It Design flush door handles, and a shaved tailgate, bumper bolts, and drip rails.
The bed was fitted with black walnut slats, anodized aluminum bed runners, widened wheel tubs, chrome hardware and hinges, and a side fuel filler system.
The Budnik Crown wheels are mounted with 255/40 front and 335/30 rear Pirelli P-Zero tires. The truck has been fitted with a black powder-coated Roadster Shop SPEC chassis that utilizes Strange Engineering adjustable coilovers, power rack-and-pinion steering, tubular front control arms, a front sway bar, and a triangulated four-link rear suspension. Braking is handled by power-assisted Baer six-piston front discs and rear drums.
The interior was refurbished by Paul Atkins Interiors of Hanceville, Alabama, and details include low-back bolstered bucket seats, a custom center console, dashboard, door panels, and speaker enclosures trimmed in lipstick-red leather upholstery. Further equipment includes gray square-weave carpeting, Vintage Air climate control, Dakota Digital cruise control, Lokar chrome-plated pedals, power windows and door locks, stainless steel trim, a hidden battery cut-off switch, and an Alpine digital stereo linked with Focal speakers, and an amplified Kicker Audio subwoofer.
The leather-wrapped Budnik steering wheel is mounted to an Ididit tilting column and frames a Dakota Digital HDX 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for battery voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The instrumentation was installed in 2021.
The digital odometer shows 3,100 miles, total mileage is unknown.
