This 1970 Plymouth Barracuda was refurbished and modified and is powered by a replacement 340ci V8 featuring a Six Pack–style induction system paired with a three-speed automatic transmission.
The car is finished in metallic blue over black upholstery, and equipment includes staggered-diameter chrome wheels, power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, lowered suspension, a Painless Performance wiring harness, rear window louvers, a retro-style head unit, and an AAR-style fiberglass hood, front and rear spoilers, and side graphics.
The replacement 340ci V8 features a Six Pack-style induction system with three two-barrel carburetors.
Modifications consist of the following components: Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum cylinder heads, Comp Cams camshaft, Comp Cams rocker arms, ARP bolts, MSD electronic ignition and spark plug wires, Aeromotive Phantom fuel pump and baffle system, King fuel block, CVR Performance Products vacuum canister with gauge, BeCool aluminum radiator, Derale 10″ and 16″ electric radiator fans, Dakota Digital electric cooling fan controller, Painless Performance wiring harness and fuse block.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Torque-Flite 727 three-speed automatic transmission that have been overhauled in 2018.
Finished from the factory in Lemon Twist (FY1), the car was repainted in metallic blue.
Features include an AAR-style black fiberglass hood, front and rear spoilers, black side graphics, a body-color front bumper, dual-side mirrors, a chrome rear bumper, rear window louvers, and dual rectangular exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance.
Aftermarket 18″ front and 20″ rear chrome wheels are mounted with 225/45 and 275/40 General Grabber UHP tires, respectively.
The ride height has been lowered, and braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel discs with slotted and cross-drilled rotors.
