The 2.8-liter inline-six was overhauled in May 2011 by Johnson’s Racing Engines and Components with a resurfaced cylinder head, polished crankshaft, and replacement bearings, rings, and gaskets.

Additional equipment includes dual SU carburetors, a ceramic-coated MOTORSPORT header, an aftermarket exhaust system, electronic ignition with a Flame-Thrower coil, and a 60-amp alternator.

The carburetors were also rebuilt by Z Therapy and Classic Tube stainless-steel fuel lines were installed.

The heater core, fuel pump, hoses, and pressure regulator have been replaced, along with the radiator, water pump, thermostat housing, and voltage regulator.

An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and an R200 differential.

The clutch assembly, release cylinder, and hose were replaced in 2012.

Turbine-style 14″ wheels are wrapped in 195/70 Bridgestone Weatherfrorce tires.

Work included sandblasting and repainting the suspension components along with fitting or replacing the following components: Four-piston front calipers, Rear shoes, wheel cylinders, and wheel bearings, Classic Tube stainless-steel brake lines, Master cylinder, Eibach springs, Koni shocks, Polyurethane bushings, MSA front and rear sway bars, Ball joints.

The interior was refreshed during the refurbishment and houses seats upholstered in black leather with embroidered “Z” headrests.

A custom wood center console and trim pieces have been added and the carpets, seatbelts, and ignition lock assembly have been replaced.

Aftermarket soundproofing and insulation were added to the floors and doors, and a replacement dash cap has been installed.

Amenities include a Retrosound multimedia stereo, a heater, and a wood shift knob.

A wood-rimmed steering wheel with painted spokes frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer.

The five-digit odometer shows 33k miles, true mileage is unknown.
