This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS was subsequently refurbished. Work included repainting the car, powder-coating the frame and suspension components, rebuilding the transmission, replacing the glass, and re-trimming the interior. The car is powered by an LS6 454ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction differential, and it is finished in green with white stripes over green vinyl upholstery. Features include a cowl-induction hood, a Gardner dual exhaust system, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, 14” Super Sport wheels, an analog clock, a push-button AM radio, and power windows.

The LS6 454ci V8 was factory-rated at 450 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque and features a cowl induction system, a four-barrel carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold, and chrome valve covers.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction differential. The transmission have been rebuilt during the refurbishment. A Gardner dual exhaust system has been fitted.

The car was repainted in green with white stripes. Exterior details include chrome bumpers, quad headlamps, hood pins, bright trim, SS 454 badging, a black grille and tail panel, and polished dual exhaust finishers. Work in preparation for sale consist of polishing the bright metal trim, re-plating chrome components, and replacing the glass, rear quarter panels, exhaust tips, and exterior emblems.

The 14″ Super Sport wheels wear bright trim rings and are mounted with F70-14 Firestone Wide Oval Super Sports tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in green vinyl and accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, headliner, and door panels. Equipment includes a center console, a push-button radio, a horseshoe-style shifter, power windows, lap belts, and Chevrolet-branded black rubber floormats. Legendary Interiors components were used to re-trim the interior. A toggle switch and wiring are hanging down below the left side of the dashboard.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges.

The five-digit odometer shows 100k miles.
