The 496ci V8 was sourced from PARR Automotive and is equipped with a lightweight steel crankshaft, an 850-cfm Quick Fuel carburetor, an Edelbrock dual-plane intake manifold, aluminum cylinder heads, a Comp Cams solid-lifter camshaft, roller rockers, MSD ignition components, and an aluminum radiator, along with TTi Performance long-tube exhaust headers feeding a dual exhaust system with an X-pipe.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TorqueFlite 727 three-speed automatic transmission with a 3,600-rpm stall converter.

The car is equipped with an 8 3/4″ Sure-Grip differential with a 489 carrier and 3.55:1 gears.

The exterior was refinished in blue circa 2020 and features a racing-style fuel filler cap, chrome bumpers and trim, a left-side mirror, and dual exhaust tips.
