This 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 was delivered new to Ron’s Ford Sales of Bristol, Tennessee, a 2018 refurbishment have included refinishing the car in maroon over new black vinyl upholstery, and power comes from a replacement 429ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok differential.

Additional equipment includes a functional hood scoop, 15″ Magnum 500 wheels, Goodyear Polyglas GT tires, front disc brakes, high-back front bucket seats, and a factory Philco AM radio.

The replacement 429ci V8 features magnesium valve covers and aluminum cylinder heads with partially hemispherical combustion chambers and was factory rated at 375 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 3.91:1 ratio Traction-Lok differential.

The car was factory finished in Royal Maroon that was stripped and repainted during refurbishment in 2018. Exterior features include a front lip spoiler, a functional hood scoop, color-keyed side mirrors, and a rear spoiler.

Chrome-clad 15″ Magnum 500 wheels feature black pockets and are mounted with Goodyear Polyglas GT F60-15 tires.

All Boss 429s came equipped with upgraded suspension components including revised control arms, a higher-rate front anti-roll bar than other Mustang variants, a rear anti-roll bar, and staggered rear shock absorbers.

Power steering was fitted from the factory along with power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.

The cabin features Clarion Knit black vinyl upholstery with matching carpeting throughout as well as red seat-back accents and simulated woodgrain appliqués on the dashboard, center console, and door panels.

The car was optioned with high-back front bucket seats, the Interior Decor Group—Deluxe and Visibility Group packages, and a factory Philco AM radio.

A woodgrain steering wheel frames instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.

The five-digit odometer shows 41k miles; total mileage is unknown.
