The 427ci V8 was overhauled in 2011 by South Florida Machine, and work included honing, decking, and boring the block .030″ over, balancing the rotating assembly, and grinding and polishing the crankshaft.

The carburetor was rebuilt, and an oil change and radiator flush were performed in preparation for sale .

The engine block stamping is shown above. The “LM” suffix to the left indicates a 390-horsepower 427ci L36 V8 in conjunction with a manual transmission.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and Positraction differential that was rebuilt by V Tech Corvette in 2014 and fitted with 3.08:1 gearing.

The transmission rear seal, shift bushing, and yoke have been replaced, and a Flowmaster exhaust system was installed.

Exterior features include a body-color removable hardtop, a black soft top, chrome bumpers, and pop-up headlights.

The 15” Torq Thrust-style wheels feature faux knock-off spinners and are mounted with 255/60 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires.

Five Rally wheels and an uninstalled Firestone whitewall tire will accompany the vehicle.

Braking is through power-assisted discs at all four corners.

Shoulder belts are fitted for both occupants, and amenities include air conditioning, power steering, electric windows, and a Corvette-branded stereo wired to speakers located behind the seats.

A three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilt/telescopic steering column and sits ahead of a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, while auxiliary gauges are mounted in the center stack.

The five-digit odometer currently shows 83k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
