This 1968 GMC K2500 pickup was refurbished and modified. Work have consisted of refinishing the body in metallic gold and white, reupholstering the cabin in tan vinyl, rebuilding and installing a 350ci V8, and installing an NV4500 five-speed manual transmission and an NP205 dual-range transfer case. Other equipment includes Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear differentials, American Racing 16″ wheels, BFGoodrich 33″ tires, front disc brakes, a lifted suspension, Rancho shocks, a PSC power-steering box, a custom dual exhaust system, a 19-gallon fuel tank, heated seats, and a RetroSound stereo.

The 350ci V8 was rebuilt and installed with Summit Racing Equipment aluminum cylinder heads, roller rocker arms, and an aftermarket camshaft. Other features include an aluminum dual-plane intake manifold, an Edelbrock carburetor, chrome valve covers, long-tube exhaust headers, DynoMax mufflers, and a 19-gallon fuel tank.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through an NV4500 five-speed manual transmission, a New Process NP205 dual-range transfer case, and a Centerforce clutch. A Dana 44 front differential along with a Dana 60 locking rear differential with 4.11:1 gearing have also been added.

The radio antenna mounting hole and fuel-filler opener were filled with metal patch panels before the body was repainted metallic gold with a white roof. The windshield, rear window, and weatherstripping were also replaced. Exterior equipment includes Custom badging, chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, and vent windows. The dual exhaust system has angled outlets ahead of each rear wheel.

American Racing 16″ aluminum wheels are wrapped in 285/75 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires, and manually locking Warn hubs are fitted up front. The truck is equipped with a Performance Steering Components billet power-steering box, and a 2″ suspension lift utilizes Rancho shocks, replacement leaf springs, and Offroad Designs shackles and polyurethane bushings. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums with stainless-steel lines and a Classic Performance Products booster. The steering, front brakes, and front differential have been sourced from a third-generation ¾-ton GM Squarebody truck.

The fuel-filler opening has been relocated to the bed floor, which is coated in body-color bedliner material.

The cab features heated “buddy” bucket seats reupholstered in tan vinyl with replacement foam along with matching door panels. Sound-deadening material has been added under the replacement rubber floor covering. Additional equipment includes a heater, a locking glovebox, and sun visors. A RetroSound radio with Bluetooth capability plays through Focal speakers in custom fiberglass kick panels.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and combination gauges.

The five-digit odometer shows 17k miles, total mileage is unknown.
