This 1967 Shelby Mustang GT350 is one of a reported 1,174 fastback examples ordered for the model year and one of just 821 cars equipped with a four-speed manual transmission. Bearing serial #0102, is finished in blue with white stripes over black vinyl upholstery, the car is powered by a supercharged 289ci HiPo V8 equipped with the Extra Cooling Package. Additional features include 15” Magstar wheels, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, the Interior Decor Group, three-point front seat belts, a fold-down rear seat, and an aftermarket stereo.
The 289ci V8 have been rebuilt and features a blue Paxton centrifugal supercharger and a Cobra-branded intake lid and finned valve covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
The car left the factory finished in Lime Gold and was refinished in blue with white stripes. Early production examples for the model year featured a one-piece grille, inboard high-beam lights, upper side scoop marker lights, functional lower brake scoops, and polished rear valance trim. Further exterior details include a vented fiberglass hood and nose extension, a fiberglass trunk lid with a ducktail spoiler, hood pins, a left mirror, and dual exhaust outlets.
