The engine bay was detailed during the refurbishment, and the intake and exhaust manifold gaskets were replaced along with various ancillary gaskets and seals.
Fluid changes and a tune-up were also completed at that time.

The 300SE model featured more extensive use of chrome trim than the W111 models with which it shared a body style, including wheel arch accents and a strip running the length of each side.
Factory 14” wheels wear body-colored hubcaps with chrome outer rims and are mounted with Michelin Defender tires that show date codes from 2019.
Originally finished in white leather, the cabin was reupholstered during the refurbishment in dark green leather, which is complemented by a matching top boot.
Gray squareweave carpeting with dark green piping lines the footwells, transmission tunnel, and console.
A two-spoke, ivory-colored steering wheel sits ahead of the ebony Macassar wood instrument binnacle, which houses a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline.
The 5-digit odometer shows 59k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
