A subsequent refurbishment involved repainting the car in red with GT350-style graphics as well as installing a supercharged and overbored 302ci V8 mated to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a power-operated black convertible top, Shelby-style bodywork, a roll bar, 15″ Shelby-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a limited-slip rear end, a Paxton supercharger, Dakota Digital instrumentation, Vintage Air air conditioning, power windows, and a JVC head unit with Bluetooth integration.
The replacement 302ci V8 have been bored 0.030″ over to displace 306ci, and it was installed during the refurbishment.
Additional modifications included the following components: Paxton supercharger, Edelbrock intake manifold, 750-cfm carburetor, Pertronix electronic ignition, Replacement fuel tank and high-pressure fuel pump, Entropy aluminum radiator w/ electric supplementary fans, Powermaster 140-amp alternator, Painless wiring harness, High-flow water pump, Replacement vacuum pump and tank. An oil change was performed in 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission that was installed during the refurbishment.
The 9-inch rear axle is fitted with 3.50:1 gears and a limited-slip differential.
A dual exhaust system with revised headers and Flowmaster mufflers has been installed.
The quarter panels, fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid, side scoops, taillight panel, and fiberglass front nose were replaced with GT350-style pieces before the exterior was refinished in red with white over-the-top stripes.
Additional details include a replacement power-operated black soft top, GT350 rocker panel stripes, hood pins, fog lights, replacement chrome-finished bumpers, and GT350 and Shelby badging.
Shelby-style 15″ alloy wheels feature Shelby-logo center emblems and wear 195/60 front and 225/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires.
Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes, and the steering and suspension components have been replaced during the refurbishment.
The suspension has been lowered by 1.5″, and additional updates included a revised rear sway bar, a National Parts Depot high-performance handling kit, weld-in subframe connectors, and KYB shocks.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench that were reupholstered in black vinyl.
Sound-damping material have been added after replacing the floor pans, and additional appointments include a Vintage Air HVAC system, power windows actuated by the window cranks, and a Shelby-style roll hoop.
Supplementary window switches are concealed in the glove box along with a JVC Bluetooth head unit linked to aftermarket speakers.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted on a Scott Drake tilting column and fronts Dakota Digital instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.
The digital odometer shows 1,800 miles, total mileage is unknown.
