The replacement 302ci V8 have been sourced from a 1968 Ford Mustang.

Modifications included resurfacing the cylinder heads, boring the block .040″ over, and balancing the crankshaft, as well as installing a 600-cfm Edelbrock carburetor and intake, a Comp Cam, an aluminum radiator, a high-torque mini starter, an HEI distributor, a Tuff Stuff alternator, and chrome Ford Racing valve covers.

Stainless steel headers feed a 2.25″ dual exhaust system with AP Exhaust Xlerator mufflers.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a replacement AX15 five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case that have been rebuilt.

The fuel tank was also stripped, cleaned, and recoated.

New fuel and brake lines, wheel hubs and bearings, driveshafts, and U-joints were installed and the frame was covered with rubberized undercoating.

The body was removed from the frame prior to the panels being stripped and repainted in Rangoon Red.

Features include uncut rear fenders as well as a white removable hardtop with a replacement headliner.

The windshield and seals have been changed.

Powder-coated 15″ steel wheels wear full covers and 33″x10.50″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires, and are mounted over manually-locking hubs up front.

The ride height has been raised approximately 4.5″ in total using suspension and body lifts and dual shocks have been added at each rear corner along with power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin houses a pair of modern sport seats with four-point RaceQuip harnesses, a rear folding bench seat, a lockable storage console, a replacement dash pad and carpets, and a roll bar.

The heater and wiper motors have been changed.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer with inset gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage.

The five-digit odometer shows just over 100 miles, with the actual total unknown.
