This 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 two-door hardtop was produced in May 1966, a refurbishment was performed in 2010, during which Galen Govier conducted a documenting inspection. Finished in a color combination of bronze over tan vinyl, the car is powered by a 426ci Hemi V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Other equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a 3.23:1 final-drive ratio, manual steering and brakes, bucket seats, a center console, and an AM radio. And an oil change and lube service were performed in preparation for the sale.

The 426ci A102 Hemi V8 came equipped with a pair of Carter AFB four-barrel carburetors, a solid-lifter camshaft, and a 26″ radiator, and it produced a factory-rated 425 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in preparation for sale.

Gases exit by way of cast-iron manifolds flowing into an H-pipe-equipped dual exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a console-shifted A727 Torqueflite automatic transmission and an 8¾” rear end with a Sure Grip differential and a 3.23:1 final gear ratio.

Included in the sale are the factory build sheet, a Mr. Norm’s Grand Spaulding Dodge decal, and materials from Galen Govier—including fender-tag and VIN decoding, a photographic summary of visual inspection, and Galen’s Registry information.

The car was finished from the factory in Bronze Metallic and was repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment. Features include chrome bumpers, wheel-well and window trim, and rocker-panel moldings as well as a twin-post driver-side mirror, quarter-panel ornamental bars, and “426 Hemi” badging.

Black-painted 14″ steel wheels are fitted with full covers and Firestone Deluxe Champion redline tires. A chassis-lube service was performed.

Front bucket seats and a rear bench are upholstered in tan vinyl with a matching dash pad, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include a center console with side lights, lap belts, and a push-button AM radio.

The tan two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts a 120-mph horizontal-sweep speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and alternator status.

The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, true mileage is unknown.
