This 1965 Ford Mustang GT coupe was the subject of a refurbishment completed in 2016, which included refinishing the exterior in its factory Rangoon Red, reupholstering the white vinyl interior, and installing a 302ci V8. Additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, front disc brakes, two-speed windshield wipers, and 15″ styled steel wheels.
The 302ci V8 was installed in place of the factory A-code 289ci engine and features a gold-finished air cleaner and valve covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and an open 3.00:1 differential. The fuel pump was replaced in preparation for sale.
GT equipment includes a grille bar with fog lamps, white lower body stripes, and dual exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance.
Styled steel wheels are wrapped in staggered-width 15″ BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
A full-size spare clad in a plaid cover is stored in the trunk.
The car is equipped with front disc brakes.
The interior features bucket seats retrimmed in white vinyl with a red dash pad, carpeting, and seat belts.
Equipment includes manually operated windows, two-speed windshield wipers, and a vintage-style radio fitted in place of the factory unit.
The GT package included a five-dial instrument bezel, which is fronted by a three-spoke steering wheel and houses a 140-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature.
The five-digit odometer shows 95k miles.
True mileage is unknown.
