This 1965 Ford Mustang fastback is finished in black with gold stripes over a black interior and powered by a 363ci stroker V8 paired with a close-ratio Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and a Street or Track 9-inch rear axle with a Yukon positraction differential and Dutchman 31-spline axles.
Features include GE LED headlights, gold Shelby-style striping, a replacement GT350 front valance panel, functional side scoops, quarter side windows, chrome bumpers, a dual-outlet exhaust.
A replacement fiberglass GT350 hood, driver side quarter panel, tail panel, trunk floor, front fenders, and inner fenders were installed as well as a Dynacorn decklid and doors.
Staggered 17″ Vintage Wheel Works V48 are mounted with Kuhmo Ectsa PS31 tires measuring 225/45 up front and 235/45 out back. Braking is provided by a Wilwood master cylinder with a proportioning valve, Dynalite calipers and rotors at all four corners, and cu/nickel hard lines. The suspension was modified with the following components: Street or Track adjustable strut rods, Adjustable export brace and Monte Carlo bar, Tubular upper and lower control arms, Unisteer power-assisted rack and pinion, Global West strut tower supports, Bilstein Coilovers, Grab-a-trak 1 1/8″ swaybar, Heidts subframe connectors, Street or Track rear 3-link suspension and Watts link.
The cabin features Summit Racing bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl.
Equipment includes Classic Auto Air climate control, American Autowire wiring with relays and a fuse block, a Mustangs to Fear headliner, RaceQuip SFI harnesses, a Shelby GT350R-style welded roll-bar and package tray, a Hurst shifter, an H3R Performance fire extinguisher, and a Velex VX-502 Bluetooth stereo amplifier with aftermarket speakers.
The interior sheet metal have been primed and coated with Lizard Skin thermal and sound topcoat.
The three-spoke LeCarra steering wheel mounted to a Flaming-River tilt column frames Dakota Digital VHX instrumentation with a GPS-based 140-mph speedometer, 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure.
The digital odometer shows 5k miles which represent mileage since completion of the build.
