This ERA 427 SC roadster is powered by a 427ci Ford FE V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is finished in red with white stripes over black upholstery and equipped with a black removable soft top, 18″ Halibrand-style knockoff wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, an independent rear suspension, Spax adjustable coilovers, a Holley carburetor, MSD electronic ignition, a driver-side roll hoop, side-exit exhaust pipes, a Moto-Lita steering wheel, and Smiths instrumentation. The car was constructed in 2003, an engine-out service carried out by ERA Replica Automobiles included the replacement of the pressure plate, clutch, expansion tank, fuel sender, motors mount, brake pads, rear brake rotors, hub bearings and races, and various seals and hose fittings.

The Ford 427ci FE V8 was rebuilt by Holman & Moody and fitted with the following components: Forged 428 crankshaft, Eagle I-beam connecting rods, Wiseco 10.5:1-compression pistons, Aluminum cylinder heads and front cover, Holman & Moody performance camshaft with hydraulic lifters, High-output oil pump, Canton oil pan, Cobra 427-branded finned aluminum valve covers, Ceramic-coated aluminum low-rise intake manifold, Holley four-barrel carburetor with “turkey pan” air box, Stelling & Helling chrome air cleaner, Ceramic-coated tubular headers, MSD electronic ignition, Tilton high-torque starter, ERA aluminum radiator with an electric puller fan, Aluminum water pump, Lakewood safety bell housing.

The engine, transmission, and fuel tank were removed during last service, and work included a cleaning of the engine bay and parts along with the replacement of the expansion tank, fuel sender, fuel line and oil line hose fittings, motor mounts, and various gaskets.

An oil change was carried out in preparation for sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Richmond Gear five-speed manual transmission and a Jaguar-sourced limited-slip differential.

The car is equipped with an ERA-balanced driveshaft with a safety hoop.

The pressure plate, clutch disc, clutch master cylinder, pilot bearing, and hydraulic release bearing were replaced.

The fiberglass body have been finished in Dodge Viper red with white stripes, and additional exterior details include a removable black soft top and matching tonneau cover, chrome bumperettes, a driver-side roll hoop, a hood scoop, fender vents, Cobra badging, a driver-side mirror, wind wings, side-exit exhaust pipes, and a Le Mans-style fuel filler.

Black-finished 18″ Halibrand-style wheels are secured with three-eared knockoffs and wear 275/35 front and 315/30 rear Falken Azenis tires.

The car is equipped with an independent rear suspension, adjustable coilovers, front and rear sway bars, a rack-and-pinion steering rack, and four-wheel disc brakes.

The brake fluid, pads, and rear rotors as well as the hub hearings, races, and seals were replaced.

The cockpit is equipped with low-back bucket seats trimmed in black upholstery, along with a color-coordinated dash panel, door panels, and carpets.

Appointments include latch-and-link harnesses, a glove compartment, black ERA-branded floor mats, door pockets, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror.

A wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation that includes a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.

The five-digit odometer shows 11k miles.
