This 1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport is one of 3,354 examples produced with the Gran Sport package, and it was refurbished in 2015 by The Guild Automotive Restorations. The car is powered by a 425ci Nailhead V8 with dual four-barrel carburetors mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential and is finished in beige over Fawn cloth and vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ Rally wheels, concealed stacked headlights, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, rear bucket seats, power vent and side windows, a Bluetooth radio, and air conditioning.

The 425ci Nailhead V8 is equipped with dual four-barrel carburetors and was factory rated at 360 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. Electronic ignition has been installed, the carburetors have been rebuilt, and the fuel tank, sending unit, and exhaust system have been replaced. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.

This Gran Sport example left the factory finished in Shell Beige and underwent a refurbishment in 2015 completed by The Guild Automotive Restorations at which point it was repainted. Exterior equipment includes concealed stacked headlights, a stylized “R” hood ornament, a remote-controlled driver’s mirror, Gran Sport badging, a power antenna, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets.

The 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with Firestone white-stripe tires. A full-size spare is located in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front and rear drums. The rear springs were replaced.

The front and rear bucket seats are upholstered in Fawn cloth and vinyl, and woodgrain trim accents the center console, doors, and rear panels. Interior appointments include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a glovebox-mounted Bluetooth stereo, air conditioning, a Twilight Sentinel headlight module, and electric side and vent windows.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames a 140-mph speedometer, an analog clock, a fuel-level gauge, and warning lights for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage. Auxiliary gauges are mounted in place of the ashtray.

The five-digit odometer shows 9k miles, total mileage is unknown.
