This 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL fastback coupe is an R-code example equipped with a 427ci V8 and a four-speed manual transmission.

The R-code 427ci V8 features dual four-barrel carburetors and was factory-rated at 425 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque.

The engine have been rebuilt within the last 50 miles.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Toploader four-speed manual transmission.

The body was factory finished in Vintage Burgundy (X) and was repainted during the refurbishment.

Gray 15″ American Racing Torq Thrust wheels have polished lips and are mounted with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires sized 215/65 up front and 235/60 out back.

The wheels and tires were recently installed and the tires show 2024 date codes.

The brakes have been refurbished and feature drums at all four corners.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl with contrasting piping, and brushed metal trims the matching dashboard, door panels, and center console.

The refurbishment included replacement of the dashboard, carpets, and headliner.

Equipment includes power windows, a cabin heater, lap belts, and a retro-style stereo.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a column-mounted 8k-rpm tachometer, horizontal 120-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level, and coolant temperature.

The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 12k miles.
