This 1963 Oldsmobile F-85 is a Jetfire two-door hardtop model that is powered by a Garrett-turbocharged version of the brand’s 215ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission.

The car is finished in Saddle Mist over a Saddle vinyl interior, and equipment includes 13″ steel wheels with polished covers, bright side moldings, chrome bumpers, dual exhaust outlets, bucket seats, an AM radio, and a heater.

The aluminum 215ci V8 is equipped with a Garrett T05 turbocharger, the first to be utilized in a production car.

Maximum output was quoted at 215 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque when new.

The turbocharger is cooled by “Turbo Rocket-Fluid”, a 50:50 mix of distilled water and methanol in a bottle under the hood.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.

The engine and transmission were rebuilt in 2015.

An owner’s manual, service manuals, a selection of service records, and additional literature are included in the sale.

This example is finished in Saddle Mist (S) and features a chrome grille and bumpers, as well as brushed and polished side moldings bearing the “Jetfire” emblem, hood trim, a driver-side mirror, vent windows, and dual exhaust outlets.

In 2015, the body was refinished and the rear bumper was replated.

Factory 13″ steel wheels wear polished covers and are wrapped in Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires.

The Jetfire utilized the front control-arm and coil-spring suspension from the contemporary Cutlass, and braking is handled by four-wheel drums.

The cabin is upholstered in Saddle vinyl with matching door panels and a contrasting brown dashboard, center console, and carpeting.

Amenities include lap belts, chrome trim, courtesy and entry lighting, a heater, a cigarette lighter, floor mats, a locking and backlit glovebox, and a push-button AM radio.

The interior was overhauled with new trim and upholstery during a 2015 refurbishment.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and a fuel-level gauge.

A vacuum-operated boost gauge is housed in the console.

The five-digit odometer shows 69k miles.
